Deep roots in Hammond, a reach that runs to the state line.
The shop has sat at 7219 White Oak Ave the whole time. The sign on the wall carries licence numbers for both Indiana and Illinois, and the older trucks in the yard still wear numbers for towns further out than the office lists today, a wider footprint built up over decades that reaches to the Illinois state line. The current service area is Hammond, Munster, Hobart and Valparaiso, plus the rest of Lake and Porter County, but the history behind that sign goes further.
